OUR REGISTRATION RATES & CONFERENCE VALUE
The AFP Northeastern Pennsylvania Chapter is grateful to the support of our conference partners including Wilkes University and Dawe Consulting who have made significant contirbutions to keep this conference affordable and accesible to all organizations.

We are thrilled about the caliber of master teachers and trainers that are part of the conference faculty, all who are significantly contributing their time and talent as well.  The workshops offered during the Nonprofit Leadership Institute typically are full-day workshops that cost at least $200 to attend and the half-day master classes at least $129.  Friday’s Philanthropy Forum takes a full day of workshops and sessions typically seen at the AFP International Conference (with the same presenters) which costs $199 for a one-day pass and brings it to Northeastern PA.

The rates for the 2017 Conference are below.  For Early Bird registrants (by 9/12) AFP will absorb EventBrite fees.

Coffee Breaks, Lunch (for each day attending), and Conference Swag Bag are included in registration.

ATTENDEES FROM OTHER CHAPTERS
AFP Member Rates are valid for any AFP member in good standing, regardless of chapter affiliation.

MEMBERSHIP + CONFERENCE SCHOLARSHIPS
Additionally, AFP Northeastern Pennsylvania is pleased to offer a special scholarship for not-yet-members of AFP who work in a small shop and meet the following criteria:

Small Organization Scholarship
– Must represent a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization
– An operating budget of less than $1,000,000
– A fundraising department with less than two (2) Full time equivalent (FTE) staff
– Individually incorporated or otherwise organized as a separate entity in the laws of the specific country; and
– Not affiliated with a larger institution supporting their operations.

  • Two Day Conference – $199
  • Includes one conference registration ($119) and one-year AFP membership for the organization ($175) – a savings of $95.

Conference Partial Scholarships
– Valid for AFP Members only
– An operating budget of less than $1,000,000
– Based upon availability of funds
– Preference given to those who have never attended an AFP International Conference
– A limited number of restricted scholarships may be available for attendees age 30 or younger
– A limited number of restricted scholarships may be available for attendees from diverse communities
– Scholarship recipients are expected to attend the entire two-day conference and, if needed, assist as speaker hosts.
If available, scholarships are partial and require the attendee or attendee’s organization to pay $25 as an investment in professional and organizational development.
